Beautiful Nedbank Intaba Ridge Classis 2013

Category General News

An over-whelming turn-out of 850 athletes greeted the inaugral Nedbank Intaba Ridge Classic on Saturday the 24th of March 2013.

The event was hosted at the beautiful Intaba Ridge Game Estate and the athletes were treated to spectacular views, beautiful wildlfe & a master-crafted new  course. Although the 10km & 20km races were both completed on the estate, the 40km race also traversed Rocky Valley & Boulder Hill Game Farms. This meant there were Zebra, Giraffe, Blesbok Wildebeest and many other antelope species on display.

Intaba Ridge also show-cased upgrades to their club-house area, roads & a new "pump-track/BMX track" as a wonderful addition to the 20km MTB trail network within the estate.

For those riders & runners wanting a safe, secure training environment, Intaba Ridge has kindly made a limited number of access permits available. At R200 per annum these permits will allow riders/runners access on Wednesdays & Fridays (all day) as well as Saturday mornings from 6am-1pm.
